Glaucoma

A glaucoma is a group of eye diseases that damage the optic nerve and its health is essential for good vision. These lesions are often caused by abnormally high pressure in the eyes. Glaucoma is a leading cause of blindness in people over the age of 60. Glaucoma can occur at any age but is more common in older people. Many forms of glaucoma have no warning signs. The effects are very gradual and you may not notice any changes in your vision until the condition improves.
