Cornea

The cornea is the transparent part of the eye that covers the front of the eye. It covers the pupil (the hole in the center of the eye), the iris (the colored part of the eye), and the anterior chamber (the area filled with fluid in the eye). The main function of the cornea is to refract or bend light.
